The Rockport Makers Festival was a huge success, and Rockport Exchange was thrilled to participate by hosting a Makers Food Market as part of the larger festival.
Many, many thanks to the First Baptist Church of Rockport for providing the venue, the Town of Rockport, the Chamber of Commerce, and most of all, Rusty & Ingrid Creative Company for co-producing this very special event.
A huge thanks, also, to our vendors for making such delicious, wholesome specialty food and to YOU, our patrons, for supporting local makers. Everyone’s efforts make our community — and the world! — a better place.
A busy Makers Food Market!
Festival-goers come prepared to support local makers in any weather.
Intrepid volunteer Kai Knudsen sorts the day’s trash into composting and recycling at the end of the market. (Thank you Kai!)
What a year!
2019 was a busy one for Rockport Exchange, to say the least. From May to October our volunteers worked to bring you 18 weeks of local food, culture, and community-focused programming. And it’s not over yet! We still have a great Holiday Makers Food Market happening (December 14th: mark your calendars!)
How do we make it all happen? With YOUR help!
In this season of giving, please consider making a donation to the nonprofit Rockport Exchange. Every dollar is important; every contribution makes a difference.
Thank you for being a part of our work in making our community stronger!
Please DONATE HERE, and thank you!
Wow. The winter flew by! (Well, depending on who you ask…). In spite of the snow still on the ground, we are thinking ahead to the Motif No.1 Day Festival on Saturday, May 18th. We would love for your nonprofit or community group to be a part of this celebration of our local icon! To apply, click HERE
We’re also looking for a few local food vendors. That application can be found HERE.
Finally, if you would like to volunteer for the M1D Fest (or any of our programming initiatives!), click HERE. We could not do what we do without our community volunteers, so THANK you!
More info about the upcoming festival to follow, so stay in touch!
