On Friday, May 17th, Rockport Exchange launches the new Rockport Foodways Map: a Walking Guide to Local Food Makers, Producers, and Restaurants. The event will take place on the eve of the annual Motif No.1 Day Festival under the tent in Dock Square —  right in the heart of Rockport.

Why Make a Foodways Map?

Rockport has long been a source of creativity and creation, from the lobstermen who work the harbor to the artists who have come to Rockport for over one hundred years to capture the essence of this place. Today, Rockporters carry on the tradition of creativity. Not just through art, but through a range of mediums, including the growing, making, and producing of that most basic of elements: food.

Rockport Exchange originates and supports community initiatives, programs and event, fostering local food producers, industry and culture.
